Taco Limey's Merchant Flipping Guide~ Empty Taco Limey's Merchant Flipping Guide~

What's up guys, Lake Bresha here, or Observe Pie. Right now I'm going to share Taco Limey's flipping guide. For me, this thing worked better at teaching me how to flip than all of the videos & tut's I've already watched.

In case you didn't know, flipping in general is when you test out an items general sell price, eg. Raw swordfish, you buy one at max, and you get it sold to you for, say, 20gp under max. That's your sell price. You now buy the item at mid, then sell at 20gp under max. (You can try buying for below mid as well for more profit, but it's your choice.

1.0 - Introduction
Flipping is the least time consuming and most effective way to make money on Runescape. This guide will teach you how to successfully flip items to increase your bank value by barely playing at all.

2.0 – Requirements
There are low requirements to be able to flip. A minimum of 10 mill is needed to begin flipping for a decent amount of profit. The more money you invest, the more items you are able to flip, therefore, the more profit you will gain. You should be patient and be able to interpret graphs.

3.0 – The Flip
How do you flip? Well it’s a simple concept, you buy a stable item at a certain price and sell it 4 hours later at a higher price.

You want to find an item’s graph that has the following characteristics:

1. Steady fluctuation (not bought out, not rapidly rising/falling)

Taco Limey's Merchant Flipping Guide~ Spot2a

Item’s with a graph like the one above are a good choice because they have limits on how much they will drop/rise in price. There is no risk investing in items like these because the chance of the item crashing is low.

2. It should have a limit on how much it rises/falls. (No giant leaps in the graph)

NOT A GOOD ITEM
There are items that are sometimes merched by clans etc. These items are impossible to flip when they’re bought out. The item could also be crashing because it was a manipulated item by a merch clan. If you accidently invest in a crashing item you will most definitely lose money, so it is very important to know the graph of the items you pick.

3.1 – Buy and Sell Prices
After you have found an item that has a good graph you put an offer in for 1 of the item at MAX. The next step is to write down the price the item bought at. This will be your SELLING price. Now you buy the rest of the item 2-5% lower than the selling price of the item.
For example;
An item is 900 GP lowest, 1,000 GP mid, 1,100 GP highest.
1. You buy the item at max and get the item at 1,050 GP.
2. Now you have your selling price.
3. You now put an offer in for the item at 1,000 GP, which is about 2-5% of the selling price.
4. After all the items have bought, you sell them at 1,050 GP 4 hours later.

If you did this correctly you have profited 2-5% of the item’s worth in a span of 4 hours with only 5-10 minutes of work. NOTE: If your cash pile is lower than 20m, it’s better to invest in lower priced items such as runes or raw fish instead of high priced items such as Zamorakian spears, where you can only buy 2-4.

4.0 – Limits Every item in the Grand Exchange has a limit per 4 hours. This means you can only buy a certain amount of the item every 4 hours. I will list the limits of the most common flipped items.

Raw Fish – 20k*
Pots – 25k
Runes – 25k
Bones – 10k
Weapons – 10*
Armor – 10-100
Godwars Items - 10
Barrow Items – 10*
Treasure Trail Items – 2
Herbs – 10k
Rings – 10*
*If you are new to flipping you should start off with these items

5.0 – Grand Exchange Updates
It is likely that during the time you are flipping items, the Grand Exchange will update. If this occurs, don’t panic, just follow these simple steps.
1. If the price went up, you can raise the price of your sell price.
2. On the other hand, if the price went down, you will most likely have to sell it at a lower price, but not less then what you bought it for.
3. If the price didn’t change at all just leave the offers as they were set.
If you wish to be notified when the Grand Exchange updates, I found a website that has a really good tool that texts your mobile phone when the Grand Exchange updates.

6.0 – Tips
1. Once you receive all your items, make sure to not trade them to anyone because it will restart the limit.
2. If you test out an item for maximum and you receive the item at LOWEST, it is better to not flip that item.
3. If the items are not buying after 10 minutes, raise the buy price by 15k for items that are worth 3-7m, and 7-10k for items that are worth 1-3m.
4. Once all your items have bought, make sure to sell them back in the GE right away!
5. Flipping on weekends is the best time to flip because most items during those days raise, so you’ll be able to make more profit.
6. Be aware of what items are crashing so you don’t invest in them.
7. Make sure you never purposely hold on to an item because the risk of losing money increases.
8. In order to keep cash flowing, always flip items when possible. So don’t waste time and always have offers in for items.

7.0 – Conclusion
The first week of flipping will be strenuous but after a few days of this, you will get the hang of it. Once you get the hang of it, money will never be easier to make. You could spend the money and it wouldn’t even matter because the money is so effortless. You will be shocked that you actually made a good amount money with hardly any effort. I hope you enjoyed this guide and it helps you become richer.
Thank you for purchasing this guide, if you have any questions email me at SignUp4Ko@live.com
Many thanks,
Taco Limey

That sums it up, remember, start off testing low things until you get the hang of it, like swordfish or lobsters. Tuna if you're that poor, and in between this, you CAN make money doing other things to maximise profits you know.
Try putting an offer in for your item that you're flipping after you've worked out the stats of it, then go mine iron, coal, gems, things like that. (:
